Rezé / June 2025

A participatory mural celebrating the 70th anniversary of our iconic Maison Radieuse in Rezé.
This mural is more than just a wall painting; it is the result of a wonderful collaboration and a genuine community effort. It was created entirely with the participation of Maison Radieuse residents—both young and old—who joined forces to bring the project to life. The artwork depicts Level 14 of the Maison Radieuse, serving as a vibrant tribute to the architecture and spirit of Le Corbusier that shape our daily lives. It is a unique way to mark this anniversary and offer a fresh, colorful perspective on our heritage.

Colors Festival presents Roadmap (2022)
An exhibition themed around travel, held in a building made available by Stanroc.
Twenty-five artists have taken over six apartments in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, and you can explore the space via a guided tour in a small group of about ten people.
The tour was delightful; a huge thank you to the host who stepped in at the last minute to replace the guide so that we could visit the exhibition.
The visit was made even more enjoyable by the fact that we had the chance to share it with Jinks Kunst, who was able to talk to us about his work.
The Sailor of the Black Cat
This piece is dedicated to the maritime spirit and resilience of Breton sailors, whose history and toil are deeply rooted in the identity of Nantes. I chose to depict a sailor with a face weathered by sea spray and the open ocean, embodying both tradition and courage. At his feet rests a cat—a faithful companion of ports and ships, and a symbol of good fortune and home. The artwork itself is the result of an intense technical undertaking: 260 hours of meticulous work were required to cut and layer the nine stencils that give the figure its texture, depth, and dramatic intensity. It is a celebration of the sea and of those who brave it.
Claude Cahun: Gender Liberated
This portrait celebrates the avant-garde spirit of Claude Cahun, an iconic figure from Nantes. A photographer, writer, and Resistance fighter, Cahun (born Lucy Schwob, 1894–1954) was a pioneer of fluid identity, breaking free from gender conventions nearly a century ago. Through her famous self-portraits, she boldly deconstructed social roles, leaving behind a powerful legacy regarding the freedom to be oneself. With this stencil, I sought to capture the quiet strength and resolute ambiguity of her gaze a reminder that Nantes has always been a breeding ground for subversion and emancipation.
Ulyss: Listening to the Invisible
This work pays tribute to Ulyss, a familiar homeless figure in Nantes whose benevolent presence left a mark on my childhood. Beyond his circumstances, Ulyss was a sympathetic listener a man with whom I spent entire afternoons talking, even though the specific topics of our conversations have faded with time. What remains with me is the quality of his listening, a gift of humanity that I seek to immortalize here. This portrait is an act of gratitude toward those souls who live on the margins but who, through their mere presence, sometimes offer us the finest lessons in kindness and humanity in the heart of the city.
