Zagreb Street Art Festival

I have been invited to participate in the 2025 edition of the Zagreb Street Art Festival, a key event in the Eastern European street art scene. The festival is renowned for its ability to transform entire neighborhoods into open-air galleries, fostering exchange between local and international artists.

University Hospital (Abandoned Construction Site)

The story of this hospital complex began in 1982, during the Yugoslav era. Originally designed to become one of Zagreb’s largest hospitals, the construction project was soon overtaken by the region's political and economic instability. Since then, the site has been the subject of a succession of ambitious proposals such as a technology park and a thermal spa complex that never materialized.

To this day, the imposing, unfinished structure stands at the city entrance, a silent witness to decades of indecision and unfulfilled promises.

Among the options currently being considered to revitalize the site is a plan for a hospice. This project would be carried out in two phases: the first would involve setting up a rehabilitation and education center for children and young people with disabilities, particularly those with neurodevelopmental disorders. The second phase would see the opening of a full-fledged hospice.
