Street art by Jinks KUNST
Born in 1976 in Vevey, Switzerland, this street artist truly found his calling in Nantes, where he has been based since 2001. Influenced during his teenage years by hip-hop culture and skateboarding, he cut his teeth in the worlds of graffiti and illustration through iconic fanzines such as 1tox and Get Busy.
While his early work was rooted in traditional lettering, his practice soon expanded to embrace new horizons: collages, stickers, stencils, and the creative repurposing of road signs. For him, any surface is a potential canvas from city walls and skateboard decks to wood and vinyl records. Discovering the stencil technique in 2006 marked a decisive turning point in his artistic journey. It became a true creative obsession, enabling him to powerfully express his identity and his unwavering commitment to urban art.
