From June 7 to 9, 2026, the city of Vaasa buzzed with the rhythm of urban culture during the renowned Meeting of Styles Finland festival. This must-attend event brought together an impressive lineup of graffiti and stencil artists from across the globe—ranging from Dyset, Omeria, Big Mora, and Noless to Naomie King, Kartikey Sharma, Mrstr, Creepymouse, Team, Ikeré, and many others. It was a true display of collective creative energy set against the Finnish landscape.

It was in this spirit of collaboration that I had the pleasure of creating a mural alongside a stellar international team: Crime and Luisifer (Colombia), Oswel (Mexico), and Noël Art (Austria).

Set against a bold, dynamic purple background, each of us contributed a piece to bring a unique, hybrid wall to life:

My stencil The "KARHU" B-Boy: As a nod to the host country, I created a B-Boy bear character named "KARHU" (Finnish for "Bear"). With a cap pulled low and sneakers on his feet, he brings the 90s hip-hop vibe that defines my contemporary work.

To my left Luisifer: The Colombian artist created a captivating, graphic female portrait; the intensity of her gaze commands immediate attention.

To my right Oswel: Next to my bear, Crimer and Oswel executed some gritty street-style lettering; Oswel also created the two characters and the lettering.

At the far right Noël Art: The Austrian artist painted a fantastical wolf in luminous blue tones, surrounded by moths.

This wall perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Meeting of Styles: the breaking down of borders, the blending of techniques and cultures, and the raw energy of the street. A big thank you to my mural partners and the organizers for these three days of pure creativity!

Mission Helsinki: A 6-hour layover, a wall, and a rush of adrenaline.

In the life of a traveling artist, unexpected flight changes can sometimes lead to amazing surprises. Originally, my flight from Paris to Helsinki included only a lightning-fast 50-minute layover at Helsinki Airport. But three weeks before departure, the airline changed the schedule, turning the layover into a six-hour wait.

That was all the inspiration I needed. I had already scouted out some legal painting spots not too far from the terminals. The goal? Leave the airport, rush to make my mark on Helsinki, and get back in time for boarding. I’ll freely admit: I was under pressure and constantly worried about missing my flight back!

But the urge to paint won out. I headed for "Tullikirjurin skeittipuisto," a local skatepark that hides a long, perfect wall for creative expression. Against a vibrant pink-and-red background, I was able to incorporate one of my paintings.

Mission accomplished racing against the clock and another city marked off the list before taking to the skies again!

Urban interventions and local nods: Playing with "No Entry" signs

I couldn't help myself: my trip to Finland was the perfect opportunity to go exploring again and have a little fun hacking the local street furniture. As I wandered around, I created three "No Entry" sign interventions, playing as I love to do with their iconic white bar:

The Skateboard Sign: Here, the white bar becomes a sliding surface (a perfect boardslide) beneath a skateboard deck to which I added trucks.

The Bottle Sign: A more classic but still effective nod, where the white line is cleverly transformed into a wine bottle lying on its side.

The Parkour Sign: An energetic piece featuring the silhouette of a traceur leaping over the bar in a classic parkour move.

To wrap up this Finnish stint, I also left a more personal mark at the famous Wasa Graffitilandia spot by pasting up my signature "taped banana" just to make my mark and pay tribute to this incredible venue dedicated to urban culture.

A giant wall, guerrilla interventions, and wheatpasting... Three intense days of pure street creativity! A huge thank you to my mural partners and the MOS organizers for this shared experience.
